Daido DRM2

Daido DRM2 is an especially tough matrix high-speed steel in ESR quality. The fine carbide distribution and matrix structure ensure superior toughness and fatigue strength at a significantly higher level than 1.3343.

DRM2 is designed for applications in blanking and forming technology where conventional materials fail due to a lack of toughness and compressive strength. Likewise, DRM2 is designed for all applications in cold and hot bulk forming where conventional materials reach their limits.

DRM2 is a brand product of the Japanese manufacturer Daido Steel. Gebr. Recknagel distributes DRM2 as a stocking distributor with exclusive Distribution rights for Continental Europe.
